Nick Hogan gets 8 months in jail

Nick Bollea (a.k.a. Nick Hogan) was sentenced to eight months in Florida County Jail today after pleading no contest to charges of felony reckless driving. Details from People: “In addition to the jail time, which begins immediately, Bollea, 17, was sentenced to 5 years probation, during which he will serve 500 hours of community service, not be allowed to drink any alcohol and have his driver’s license revoked for 3 years.”I think there is an understanding of what happened, and there is a sense of acceptance of responsibility,” the judge said, explaining his decision. “There is nothing that the court can impose that is close to what John has dealt with or will have to deal with as he moves forward.”Leaving the courthouse, Bollea’s family did not address reporters. His attorneys did say that Bollea was “happy” with the sentence, and happy that the case was finished.Felony Conviction to Be ErasedCiting Bollea’s age and his lack of any prior criminal record – beyond a series of speeding tickets that the judge deemed as showing a “cavalier” attitude behind the wheel – the jurist decided not to force Bollea into guilty verdict, meaning his “no contest” plea will stand. He also will not have a felony conviction on his record once he turns 18 later this summer.” Ouch!

“According to reports, ratings of the hit Disney show ‘Hannah Montana’ have dropped following a scandal surrounding the show’s star Miley Cyrus. Cyrus posed for Vanity Fair magazine and is under fire for the provocative photos in which she appears to be topless. According to the Nielsen Company, the show has been hit with a 14% decline in viewers since the photo scandal, bumping it down from it’s number one spot. Cyrus, 15, stars as Hannah Montana. Montana is a high school student who leads a secret double life as a pop star.” Thats Disney. Her ratings are up, for the rest of the US who didn’t know who the hell she is, they have got to be up. Until all the news sation started talking about the so-called racey photos, if you don’t have a 6-14 yr old little girl you had no idea who she is.

In case you missed it Syesha Mercado gave one of the best performance of the season last night, David Archuleta & David Cook right there with Syesha. OK nice way of saying Jason Castro sucked! But in my opinion he shouldn’t even had made it to the big stage. I think if it weren’t for the tween vote he’d be gone long time ago!
